I dwell within the threads of a complex tapestry
Night is the garb I wear
Sunlight exposes my tattoos from life

I am beautiful as the last blood drop from the wrists of a suicide
I am hated as the thief who got away
I am honest as the decision between life and death
I am as small as the difference

I sing songs of beautiful sorrow to crowds who'll never understand their meaning
I befriend those who are hated, and loathed by those who are loved
I choose the paths less crowded
I walk on a field of trampled roses
I am me
I am the cold silence at the end of a brawl
I am your shadow etched on a lonely wall
I am the last star to flicker out at night
I am the hope a tragic hero clings to
I am me
I fear the crushing dark blue oblivion
I love the feeling of the strange unknown
I dream in detailed black and white
I imagine the breeze of plummeting to death
