I'm also portuguese. And I have to say that I was very disappointed with the final results but not very surprised. It's the same thing each year. Portugal, 13th place! HAH!

I'm sure that with this voting system even if we came up with the greatest song ever made, we wouldn't have won.

If you haven't heard our song, please hear it, it's a wining song! And I don't say this because I'm portuguese, I actually HATED Portugal's last entries.

But this song was beautiful and intense and made me feel proud that I'm portuguese.

Is there actually nothing we can do to prevent this from happening in the years to come?

i say .. all USA and GEORGIAN alie countries should boycot the russian contest next year.. EUROVISION is anti GOD, anti AMERICAN/BRITSIH.. pro communism, terrorism and CORUPTION

Well, aslazarx, the british song this year was a real shit. Also the spanish. See the swedish, greek (I voted for them), the armenian, georgian, norwegian, ukranian and the portuguese songs were quite good and get a good score. Of course Dima will get more points fgrom the Baltic countries, because he is a great star and in Youtube many videos showed that Dima is the new winner. I am from Bulgaria and vote every year ffor Greece, because I like their music and exspacioully the 2006 Greek entry with Anna Vissi. It is my favourite eurovision entry for ever :) It`s a shame that she didn`t won that year :(

hellow! I'm from Portugal and i'm hear to tell you how much i'm disapointed with eurovision song contest... Now it isn't about the best songs and melodies it's all about voting on the countries next to us... The song doesn't matter... Good songs have won eurovision song contest but there was better ones in the same years! And other thing that i doesn´t understand is how are chosen the countries that are already at the final and don't have to be voted to.... I ask this cause i see that every year there are always the same countries... And the point is.... Countries like spain or united kingdom for example are one of that countries but every year they end the competition at the end of the rankings...
